Meatballs are popular in a lot of cultures: for instance, people, in Persian cuisine, it is often called Kofte, while Greeks call them keftedes. Some historical investigations indicate that the origin of meatballs refers back to ancient Persia which then was exported to other countries in the Middle East and then to the west. Ingredients

  • ½ kg of (grass fed) minced beef 
  • ½ kg of minced pork (spicy)
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 4 tablespoon of fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 4 to 6 full scoops of unflavored collagen peptide powder 
  • 2 tablespoon of salt
  • ½  tablespoon of black pepper
  • 1/4 tablespoon of red pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of oregano (dried)
  • Half a cup (½) of almond flour

Step by Step Instructions

  1. Place bakery paper (parchment) on the baking sheet
  2. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. 
  3. Combine all these ingredients in a bowl: minced beef, minced pork, the two eggs, parsley, your favorite (unflavored) collagen peptide powders, oregano, salt, red ad black peppers. 
  4. Next, add the almond flour  to your mixture, and again, mix all the ingredients until fully combined. 
  5. Now, shape the mixture at hand into balls (similar to the size ping pong balls)
  6. Place the balls on parchment paper (baker paper). Using parchment will make things much easier for you to clean up. 
  7. Now it’s oven time: put the balls in the middle part of the preheated oven for 30 minutes
  8. After your thirty minutes is over, place the bakery sheets on the top rack for a good ol’ broiling of the meatballs. Keep there for two or three minutes until they are golden brown. Yummy! 
  9. Your meatballs are ready to serve. You can remove them, and serve them with a toothpick or maybe mix them with rice for a heavier meal. But that’s up to you! Just remember, you’ve been meatballed! Cheers!
